Meet Our Staff
Co-Pastor
Susana Kinglsey has been involved in ministry since her early teenage years. It all started in the Arts and Theatre Ministry of Centro Biblico Internacional, Colombia. She was later involved in the worship dance ministry, the youth discipleship program as a teacher and mentor to young men and women and as a prayer intercessor.She has ministered extensively through the United States, Central and South America.
In 2003, she married Pastor Erik Kingsley and joined him in the leadership of New Life Family Church, a ministry that is touching the world with the tangible love of Jesus. She currently serves as co-pastor and as the overseer of the Women’s Ministry; a ministry that is empowering and equipping women. She is an ordained minister by Victory Fellowship of Ministries located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Children's Leader
Claudia Chagui is a graduate of RHEMA and the Kansas City Art Institute.
Her passion for kid's ministry started in South America, where she grew up with a desire to see the lives of children transformed. She has worked with street children in Colombia, as well as children from diverse backgrounds all over central and south America.
She has organized and directed teams and learnig/evangelistic activities for children in countries including: Mexico, Honduras, Ecuador, Peru, Paraguay, Colombia and Bolivia.
Currently the Children's leader at New Life Family Church for the past 4 years, she has a passion for seeing children in Louisburg grow and learn who they are in Christ!
Toddler's Leader
Mary Ming has been attending NLFC since the summer of 2006. She has been a resident of Louisburg since 1985,when she and her husband and two children moved here from Overland Park.
Mary has beed employed at Louisburg Ford for 20 years,her husband is a mechanic, her son does flooring and tile work, her daughter is a hair dresser.
Mary has enjoyed being a wife for 33 yrs,a mother for 30 yrs,and a grandmother for 11 years, and is looking forward to many more! She is currently helping in childrens church, and is team leader for the toddlers class, It seems like a natural fit considering she has made family a career choice.
Usher Leader
Kristi Thompson serves as Head Usher for New Life Family Church. Kristi has served in various positions in different churches over the last 30 years.
She served as Church Sec/Treasurer and Board Member at her previous church for 8 years before coming here in 2006.
She has served as Head Usher for 1 year and also serves on the Worship Team. Kristi has been involved in the Fitness Industry as an Instructor for 16 years and teaches a class called PraiseMoves here at the church. She and her husband Arlen have 4 children.
Greeting Team Leader
Michele Cowger has attended and served in various capacities at New Life Family Church since 1996. She presently serves as Greeting Team Leader, Usher helper, Prayer Ministry, Children's Church helper, Easter Outreach Coordinator and keeps the SYNC minutes.
She loves worshipping and praising the Lord and, encouraging others with the truths of God's Word!
Michele is a designer in her home based business, Dream Home Designs, L.L.C. where she helps people with new construction and remodel/addition projects for residential and small commercial projects, “Floor Plans to Furnishings”.
She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Kansas State University, where she studied Interior Design. She and her husband Rocky have been married since 1979 and have 2 sons. They moved to Louisburg from Merriam, KS in 1996. Michele dedicated her life to the Lord in 1983, and with graditude, continually learns from Him and desires to serve Him!
Sound/Lighting Team Leader
Matthew Brumbaugh, originally from Seattle, Washington, currently serves as leader for the Sound and Lighting ministry at NLFC.
He has served for the last three years and has led the team for the past year. Matt is very proud of the work both past and present we have done integrating new technologies and different styles of worship as well as different worship leadership.
Matt also serves on the Board of New Life Family Church as an advisor to Pastors Erik and Susana since 2005. He also has served as an assistant to the Pastor for Men’s Bible Study and has prepared and led different studies.
Matt is employed at Quest Diagnostics in Lenexa, Kansas in the Logistics Department. He and his wife, Gretchen, have lived in Louisburg for six years and have attended New Life Family church since 2004.
Matt enjoys golfing, fishing and gardening but has a real passion to cook and bake! He loves to travel and meet different people and learn about different cultures. Matt believes this has enriched his life and has broadened his perspectives as an individual and believer. Matt’s personal mission is to touch the World one life at a time.
